JCrete is an annual unconference on the island of Crete founded by Heinz Kabutz. It has a unique format with sessions in the morning and excursions each afternoon to a scenic part of the island. Although, even at the beach you will still hear geeks discussing SQL vs. No-SQL and arguing over Garbage Collectors and JVM languages.
